Welcome to The Treehouse!
Imagine yourself in a treehouse, up above all the regular hustle and bustle. Up here, you can open a sketch book or a journal and draw or write whatever you want. Up here, your creativity escapes the bounds of your day-to-day responsibilities. Up here, you dream and play and create; you laugh with friends and marvel at your brand new creations.
At each Treehouse gathering, we bring folks into a space for a program that fosters creative community, loosens up your creative brain, and provides time for individual creative adventure.
Details
Treehouse gatherings are typically two hours long. During this time, you will have the opportunity to:
Meet your fellow Treehouse companions
Participate in a multi-disciplinary creative prompt or activity (that we provide, of course!)
Work on individual projects that you bring with you (or, if you want, just keep working on the provided activity)
Share the results of your work with the rest of the group (but only if you want to)
Who can come?

Already have an established creative practice? Or, just want to expand your creativity?
Yep. We want all of you!
Additional Details:
What to bring: During Treehouse events, you will have at least an hour to work on a project of your choosing. You can, of course, just work on the creative activity that we provide, but we encourage you to bring some independent work. You will have a normal amount of table space for whatever you bring, so feel free to bring your laptop, sketchbook, notebook, etc. If background noise bothers you, please bring some headphones.
Other important stuff: This event is held on the second floor at this location. We encourage attendees to patronize the local businesses that provide space for our events! The Wolverine offers many fine beverages for all tastes as well as snacks. We therefore ask that you not bring personal beverages or food to the event.
